You will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast, and get organized before you take on the Kigali city tour, whereby you will visit a lot of the historical and cultural sites in Kigali, including the reconciliation village in Bugesers, the Gisozi memorial site, and end the day with a visit to the Kigali city market, where you will be able to do some shopping before you return to your hotel at Bloom hotel.

Make sure that at around half-past seven in the morning, you arrive at the park headquarters to receive the gorilla trekking instructions before you start the journey into the jungle for the endangered mountain gorilla encounter. You can stay in the forest while trekking for about 6 hours, and this will depend on how fast you move when in the wild and the location of the gorilla group that you have been allocated. It is best to request to see the nearby gorilla family since you will be trekking back, and once you have found the gorillas, you will have strictly one hour of interaction, including taking photos, recording small videos, and asking as many questions as you can
