Trackers are an important part of the gorilla tourism industry and they play an important role in the gorilla trekking experience. Most of the visitors ask if the trackers are important in the gorilla trekking experience. What you need to know is that the process of you, as travelers, coming to see the gorillas in Uganda takes a long time.

There are a lot of activities that are done behind the scenes to make sure that you see the gorillas. All the gorilla national parks have got trackers who aid in tracing the endcenegered mountain gorillas where they have slept and even where they are located. Today we look at the role of trackers and if trackers are necessary when trekking gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park or Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.

Gorilla trekking experiences take place in both Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in Uganda, and in Rwanda, at Volcanoes National Park and Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Fluency training mainly takes place in the gorilla allocation and other activities related to the mountain gorillas.

They are well-prepared to distribute mountain gorilla families and allocate them to the groups of visitors in a regular manner. They begin their duty early in the morning, usually starting from where the mountain gorillas rested the previous evening or night and following their course throughout the day.

When they see the mountain gorillas, they use walkie-talkies to communicate with their respective park central command or headquarters, informing them of their location. The aides are then trained, and they begin the journey with the guests, using other ways to reach the gorillas if necessary.

When it comes to the gorilla trekking experience, the reason why it is critical is that they must move into the forest before the visitors in order to trace where the endangered mountain gorillas are located. The gorilla trackers, often known as the advance group, play a crucial role in tracking mountain gorillas. The gorilla trekking action is thus incredibly well-coordinated, and one may be certain of sighting mountain gorillas if all of the elements are in place.

In order to really enjoy the experience of gorilla trekking, one must be in a healthy frame of mind. We recommend that people who are disabled, weak, or elderly hire doormen or automobile seats to assist them during the journey.

We can, therefore, say that it is necessary to make sure that the trackers are involved in the gorilla trekking experience and, therefore, their role cannot be underestimated since they have to go to the bush and track the gorillas and later communicate with the headquarters where they have seen the gorillas and the tourists start visiting the park.

This is why tourists coming to Uganda are guaranteed to see gorillas at least 99 percent of the time. This is simply because of the gorilla trackers. As a result, if it’s not too much work, consider the trackers while tipping a local escort.

In most cases, a tip offered to the local escort is also given to the gorilla trackers. UWA usually has a central tipping box where you can leave your money. By tipping, you are assisting the aides and gorilla trackers in continuing their day-to-day work of searching for gorillas, which is far from simple.
