Jinja is located in the Eastern region of Uganda on the shores of Lake Victoria approximately 80km by road from Kampala the capital city of Uganda. It is a home of the source of the Nile the longest river in the world. Because of the source Jinja has become a leading tourism destination due to the activities that take place such as fishing, kayaking, boat ride, white water rafting, bungee jumping to mention but a few.
Drive from your place of residence early in the morning, head to the source of the Nile for morning rafting, you will get briefing by the rafting experts who will be with you at the boat then after board the boat and experience the safety dills taught at the briefing point. You can choose whether you want a crazy raft or a calm one. Either way all is fun. Have lunch and head out for an hour boat ride on Lake Victoria to the Source of the Nile. After the boat ride transfer back to Kampala.
